The completely unique and patented design captures all the benefits of the very best stair-step exercise systems in a mobile recreational bicycle. The treadles move smoothly with complete independence --- both treadles can be pumped independently or depressed fully for comfortable "coasting".
A state-of-the-art Shimano internal rear hub transmission gives StairCyle 8 gears (3 in children's size) with no complex and troublesome derailleur system. The internal gears are sealed for resistance to water and dirt. They shift smoothly for powerful climbing or high-speed cruising.
The low center of gravity allows for easy turning, balance and handling. It is truly fun to ride. There is no seat on StairCycle™ since the rider uses their own weight for forward propulsion.
StairCycle™ comes equipped with a computer to track miles and time for objective exercise programs.
